 2 Types of Vibrating Feeder Drives
Jeffrey Rader offers two types of feeder drives for its industrial vibrating feeders: The EF models and HP models are Electromagnetic Feeders. The NF models are Electromechanical Feeders.
EF and HP Electromagnetic Vibrating Feeders operate through a controlled high frequency vibration. This is accomplished with electrical pulses and a machine that is tuned to a natural frequency that is higher than the electrical frequency of the power supply (sub-resonant tuning).
NF Electromechanical Vibrating Feeders are designed such that burden does not dampen vibration, but actually boosts performance. Our feeders are tuned near their own natural frequencies making them in tune with the materials they carry.
The newest addition to the Vibratory Feeder lin is the CentroloadTM Feeder. Engineered with the latest in feeding technology, the CentroloadTM Feeder evenly distributes material directly to the Cone Crusher or Vertical Shaft Impactor. Industry leaders have already experienced at least a "15-20% higher production rate, better gradation of materials and at least a 10% improved liner wear in the crusher". (read more)
