A Wood Hog that Delivers Horsepower and Installation Savings

Lower wood hog power requirements means initial installation cost savings as a result of reducing transformer, wiring and starter costs. Reduced wood hog horsepower also provides energy savings during the entire equipment service life.

Easier Wood Hog Maintenance Access

The Razorback Wood Hog with optional Hydraulic Power Access System provides exceptional wood hog maintenance accessibility. The awkward and limited access of traditional hammermills is dramatically improved.

Razorback Wood Hog Hammer Designs

The Razorback is designed to use three types of hammers to meet the specific application requirements.

Complete Wood Fiber and Biomass Processing Systems

Jeffrey Rader has the ability to provide both the screening and hammermill equipment for a complete wood fiber or biomass processing system. While the Razorback does not require prescreening, a scalping screen may be added to the process and will offer the benefits of saving capital, maintenance, and operating costs.

Product Sizing Versatility by Design

The Razorback hammermill is designed to allow for easy modification of internal components to adjust the product discharge size. Initial configuration of the wood hog's Rotor Gates, Rotor Lugs, Discharge Grates, and Hammers is determined by product testing in Jeffrey Rader’s Lab or from previousapplication experience. If at any time the application dictates a change in the product sizing, the internal wood hog components can be reconfigured in the field with a very minimal amount of downtime.
